About the Faculty of Science
The Faculty
of Science was established in August 1942 as a one of the first faculties of Alexandria
University (formerly Farouk I University). The study started in the faculty on October
17, 1942.
The Faculty
offers the following degrees: General B.Sc., Special B.Sc., Postgraduate diploma.
M.Sc and Ph.D.
Because of the
evolution of the faculty and the increase in the number of students, the faculty
exists in several sites:
1. Building

The faculty
consists of nine departments: Mathematics-Physics-Chemistry - Botany- Zoology –
Geology - oceanography - biochemistry- Environmental Science.
